There’s a lot going on, so I’m going to jump right into it…

1. Y’all keep begging for the hardbacks (that are under the dust jackets of the new special editions from the last Kickstarter campaign) to be paperback covers. Despite them breaking all cover rules and I’m going to hell anyway, here’s the tentative launch schedule:

2. Family of Love is currently scheduled to launch on June 10, 2025. I had to pause on editing to give my brain some time to heal a bit, but I should be able to start back up in the next few days. If you are interested in being added to the ARC Team, simply send me a message.

3. Love on Fire has been screaming at me like a banshee! (Or that’s the constant migraine…🤣) Either way, I have been poking around that a little lately, too. Even been in a romcom movie watching mood, which I haven’t even touched in almost two years straight at this point…😬 However, I did read bits of it to Mario just to see what he thought. And I made the least emphatic and romantic man on the planet bust out in hysterical laughter, so I’m feeling pretty confident at the moment. 🤭

4. Olive is painting the books as we speak. She’ll actually be coming to Lindsborg in May to visit family, so she’ll bring the books to me at that time, since it’s not safe for me to drive anywhere or even meet her halfway as we had originally planned. It will be outside of the budget to have them shipped back to me, since I am still waiting for approval for SSDi. 🥴

5. This means the Birth of the Legend Kickstarter campaign will most likely be around the end of August. (I am currently looking at the 19th-30th). I realize kids are going back to school, but I’m giving you notice. The tiers will basically be the same. I will be adding:

• A blue cloth hardback tier to match the original collection for those who want to continue to have a matching set. $55 (I think is what it was + shipping)

• An individual tier of Birth of the Legend for those looking to simply add this next book to their collection (Books 1-3) ($75 + shipping)

• And a tier with all 4 books for those who are just starting out (TBD) I can’t do math this late at night…🤣

So, mark your calendars! And don’t say I didn’t warn you!! I’m currently trying to see if B&N can fix the website. It’s struggling to recognize the different covers as separate books despite having their own ISBNS. If they can’t get it worked out, I will be forced to have them be an Amazon exclusive. But at least they will still be somewhat international which is good.

The special edition paperbacks are through ingramspark and available anywhere. Health Update

I saw the neurologist. He didn’t care about literally anything. He told me I need insurance if I want to actually treat my migraine because I have chronic migraines, and I need medication to manage them. Yet, he won’t fill out any paperwork for SSDI. So…yeah. But I did see a local psychiatrist. I had to take a bunch of cognitive and memory tests. I didn’t pass any of them.

Therefore, I’m just going to take my small moment and make them work for me as much as possible. Heat isn’t my friend, so summer should be fun…LOL! But I hope you’re doing well!
