Summer is here, and it’s hot, hot, hot. Too hot for me to be outside, because the heat makes me super sick. Therefore, I’m staying inside in the air conditioning.

Well, 2025 has already proven to be quite a frustrating year for so many. Outside of the ongoing shitshow, that is the U.S.A., I have seen more bookish events fall sour with event hosts planning poorly and taking money that wasn’t theirs to making their events simply not safe. Authors, narrators, vendors, sponsors, and influencers have been losing money right and left these last couple of months for either taking a stand for their beliefs and morals, or standing up for their reader’s rights.

Everyone was begging if we could put these struggling souls together in one place, and I couldn’t agree more. So, first I put together a Google form, so I had the information I needed to add them to the landing page. If you want to share it with anyone you know who needs to be added, click here.

Then I created a simple landing page. I add to it as I collect names and have a good day. Click here to access the page and share it with your friends. The more we share, the more we help all of them. I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t sit around and keep hearing horror stories about everyone being taken advantage of just for taking a stand and not do anything about it. Love on Fire Update….

As much as I was vibing with Reign on of the Raven, Love on Fire decided to cut in. This is what happens when you have so many voices floating around in your head. HA! However, we’re over 34K, so it’s really coming along nicely! And it’s always good to take a break from writing from Claudia’s POV….

Emma and Luke are definitely a fun couple to write, and it’s always fun to look up additional random facts that I didn’t already know. LOL! Although, I’m struggling to find black and white kitty pictures that do Duncan justice, so we’ll see what I can come up with for my page breaks. I do hope you like it as much as I do. I guess we’ll see once I’m done!

Reign of the Raven Update….

It’s still going strong, like I stated earlier. Love on Fire just started screaming a bit louder, so I wanted to add these parts before I forgot them. Especially since my memory is really going to crap more and more these days…lol! But I’m quite pleased with what I have so far!

I also came to realize why the novella went silent on me. Several of the characters that will be covered haven’t made their appearance in the story just yet, thus making it difficult to write their backstories just yet. They play a vital role in the story, but they haven’t been introduced. So, it’s hard to discuss a backstory for characters that haven’t entered the story quite yet. However, once I get to their section in Reign of the Raven, I’m sure it will be no problem writing their story in Family of Fate. How do I know? Because I have written the parts for the characters already in the story and it was fine and smooth. 😃 

I hope this finds everyone doing as best as one can be doing during these times.
